Someday on Christmas Eve

It is on Christmas Eve that we gather with our families, strive to become better, and try to support those who need help. After all, kindness makes people stronger and happier. Belief in miracles on this evening inspires, lifts our spirits, and rearranges our thoughts.

The plot of the play (script author – Natalia Boymuk) tells the story of a girl, a pupil of an orphanage, Olesia, who does not lose faith in miracles, so on Christmas Eve her greatest dream comes true – to have her own family.’ Director of the play Bohdan Revkevych says that the action takes place in the festive city center of Lviv: «Lviv and its streets will turn into a fairy-tale nativity scene, where a carol sounds, where wishes come true, and a special Christmas mystery reigns. It is on Christmas Eve that we gather with our families, strive to become better, and try to help those in need, because kindness makes people stronger and happier.

The set design for the Christmas concert was created by the theater's chief artist, Yulia Zaulichyna, using a traditional home decoration - a spider, which will illuminate the stage. Poster designer Maria Bilinska created a greeting card that everyone can take to heart and give to loved ones.
