Premiere of the ballet "Forest Song"!

On July 2 at 2:00 PM in Lutsk, at the Volyn Drama Theater, the premiere of the legendary ballet "Forest Song" performed by students of the Kyiv State Professional Choreographic College named after Tatyana Tayakina, currently directed by Kateryna Kukhar.

Immediately after the European tour, the College students will present the legendary ballet in Lutsk. And they will give incredible impressions and positive emotions to the audience.

"Forest Song" - one of the most beautiful ballets in Ukraine. For 80 years, this ballet has remained a greatness of the world classical heritage and a hallmark of Ukrainian choreography.

«Forest Song», set in the ancient Volyn Ukrainian forest, tells the story of love between the fantastic forest creature Mavka and a man - in the form of Lukash.

The ballet is filled with complex duet supports, enchanting turns, numerous jumps. The unforgettable corps de ballet immerses you in a real classical ballet that moves in magical unison, mesmerizing with incredible choreographic patterns. Legends about enchanted forest creatures seem to come to life on stage and cause genuine admiration.

The ballet was created based on the drama-extravaganza of the same name by the Ukrainian poetess Lesya Ukrainka to the musical motifs of the famous Ukrainian composer Mykhailo Skorulsky. The composer subtly conveyed the incredible beauty of the Ukrainian forest and the color of a Ukrainian wedding. Emotional music immerses the viewer not only in a magical love story, but also conveys all the subtleties of the confrontation between the worlds of people and nature.

Fantastic creatures such as mermaids, devils, and water spirits come to life on stage, which for a moment makes you believe in the existence of higher forces of nature, where a real fairy tale for adults and children opens.
